Sales Administrator – Source Distribution

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join Source Distribution – a leading and highly respected music technology distributor, handling several leading industry brands including: Rode, Genelec, Moog and Arturia. Source Distribution are looking for a Sales Administrator to establish a close working relationship with our dealers and process sales orders. This is a hybrid home-based/office-based role located in Park Royal, NW10 6JP. The ideal candidate will have experience in the music technology sector and a basic technical knowledge of the products we handle would be beneficial.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Field both phone and email sales enquiries from dealers and customers and provide accurate information in a helpful friendly way
  • Establish a close working relationship with the Source dealer network
  • Gain a deep understanding of the sales software systems at Source (principally Microsoft Dynamics/NAV) and how to quickly enter and extract information from it
  • Work closely with Source’s area managers to assist them with enquiries about price/stock levels and any queries about the progress of orders already on the system
  • Assist Brand managers, in particular with trade shows and trade show preparation, and on sales projects and promotions
  • Assist with management and processing sales of ex-demo stock, Amazon account orders, software orders, and loan orders
  • Facilitating shipments and orders to our Irish dealer network including liaising with Shipping Manager.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • A superb understanding of Excel spreadsheets and how to get the most out of them
  • Very good basic IT skills – able to pick up new software easily; experienced in using Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and advantage
  • Suitable homeworking environment for two days working from home per week
  • Must be an outgoing and motivated self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
  • Be keen and able to build direct relationships with customers and suppliers
  • A working knowledge of any of our core brands would be advantageous
  • Confidentiality and discretion are essential
  • Excellent organisational and client facing skills, including conflict management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
