HHB Customers enjoy the support of Europe's largest independent pro audio service facility. The 2,000 square foot technical department at our London headquarters has its own, dedicated reception and is home to seven highly-experienced and fully-trained engineers. Where possible we carry our own large inventory of spare parts, so we don't have to wait for supplies from manufacturers, and we've invested more than £250,000 in all the latest analogue and digital test and measurement systems. What's more, the HHB technical department is approved by most leading manufacturers, ensuring our customers receive the highest standards of after sales service.
HHB now offers the services of four Avid Certified Service Representative (ACSR) PT400 Pro Tools trained engineers. HHB and Scrub are the only companies in the UK with four ACSR accredited engineers, making them the most qualified team of specialists to provide first-line support for Avid Pro Tools and Pro Tools HD customers.
The ACSR certification provides even further depth to the Pro Tools services offered by HHB's Technical Department, which includes presales workflow and integration consultation, predelivery and onsite configuration and set up and after-sales support and training.
Both HHB and Scrub, its Soho-based subsidiary specialising in serving the post production industry, provide technical support for clients, with a strong focus on Avid Pro Tools as well as other Apple and PC based DAW's. All systems are put though several hours running busy sessions so they are proven to be reliable under heavy working conditions before leaving the premises. HHB and Scrub also offer an annual 'MOT Service' that provides maintenance and evaluation of your facilities' equipment with suggestions for upgrades and improved efficiency.
Many of the UK's leading broadcasters and post production facilities have already chosen to work with HHB and Scrub in planning and implementing their new installations and upgrades to the new HDX hardware. Leading post production, broadcast and music studios like the Farm, Molinare, ITV's Manchester and London studios, The BBC, Real World, Abbey Road, Unit Media, Castle Rock, Premier PR and Envy have worked with us on multi-facility upgrades, even during critical times in the working year. Our sales and technical staff have the experience and knowledge to deliver the best results quickly and accurately.
HHB's commitment to outstanding service has also been recognised by the industry at large and HHB has been awarded The Audio Pro International Industry Excellence Award for Best After-Sales Service in both 2010 and 2012.

"It can be very difficult to upgrade systems and incorporate new technology into an existing infrastructure. HHB built and configured the new Pro Tools system at their facilities so they could be installed without interrupting our infrastructure and we were up and running in the same day. That is the service that we want and that is why we have been very happy with HHB." - Deluxe Digital's Head of Technical Services Andy Scade.
"From the initial planning advice, through sales and installation support, Scrub's service was outstanding. This was a major project for Molinare and needed to run to a very tight schedule - Scrub proved extremely helpful and flexible in the support they gave, enabling us to keep everything on track. They ably demonstrated the benefit that a dedicated, knowledgeable, experienced sales company can offer and the very real added value that they bring." - Molinare General Manager - Technology Richard Wilding.
"Upgrading 12 of our studios in a single weekend was not going to be an easy task. As always, Scrub was integral to making this happen and worked very closely with the team at ENVY from early planning through to final implementation." - ENVY's Head of Technical Operations Daniel Sassen.
After announcing the move from Whiteladies Road to Edgecumbe Hall this past November, The Farm worked with Scrub, the post-production department of HHB, to outfit their new facility. Now Farmton Abbey, as the site has been dubbed, is prepared to take on the growing regional production commissions for the latest audio formats.
After visiting Scrub, talented UK DJ Nick Bridges picked up a pair of Genelec 8341s to outfit his new studio. We paid a visit to Nick in his studio to check out his set up and ask him a few questions; here is what we learned.
