Trio of new Studer releases on show at BVE 2018

Pro audio technology suppliers HHB Communications will welcome console pioneers Studer to their stand as co-exhibitor at this year’s BVE hosted at the ExCel London. Product highlights will include three new releases; Vista 5 Black Edition, Glacier and Micro, each offering key solutions to multiple sectors including broadcast and production.

The newly announced Vista 5 Black Edition with the Compact Infinity Core is a sleek, flexible and cost-effective solution for broadcast, production or live projects. With the same feature set as the Vista 5 M3 plus all the additional touches, only available with Infinity Core technology, the desk is also compatible with all types of Studer’s Infinity Cores and is the newest member of Infinity Series consoles. The desk is available in 22, 32 and 42 fader sizes and supports an optional TFT meter bridge.

The customisable Micro Series is up next and delivers a compact and cost-effective digital audio mixing console with the features and functionality of a high-end mixing system. The system delivers the same renowned Studer quality but also brings state-of-the-art features such as AoIP, Lexicon effects processing, VoiceMix automatic mixing and more. The system is comprised of two connectable modules; the DSP core unit with a rugged 3U chassis, I/O, DSP and Control System, and the Fader Controller offering up to 12 fader controls when two controllers are connected simultaneously.

Designed with the broadcast audio workflow in mind, the Glacier Series is a highly customisable and flexible concept with intuitive controls and interoperability for any on-air application. The Glacier Series contains two easy-to-use control surfaces, created to provide concise physical controls for live use. The Fader Module provides effortless control when multitasking, and features Studer FaderGlow to assign colours to each fader for easy channel layout and management. Each module is self-contained and can operate fully with the Studer DSP Core via TCP/IP. Connect multiple modules to customise and create your own setups, whatever the requirement.

Studer’s Broadcast Global Sales Director, Mark Hosking commented ‘The UK has always been a very important market for Studer, both radio and TV, and is one we’ve been successful in over the years. This year’s BVE is our first with HHB as our UK & Ireland Distributor and we’re very excited to be able to showcase our latest developments on the HHB booth’.

The Vista 5BE, Micro and Glacier range are available to view at stand K45 with HHB Communications at BVE 2018 between 27th February and 1st March.
