HHB Communications Ltd is presenting complete audio solutions at ExCeL London during BVE 2016 (stand L45, next to the bar).
The company is showing Avid Pro Tools mixing solutions, with three EUCON-enabled control surfaces on the show floor in configuration with complimentary workflow products.
Pro Tools | S6 features a modular design, and with the release of the S6 Master Joystick Module, and announcement of the S6 Master Post Module, Avid is offering mixers flexible new ways to manage complex sessions and be more creative. The S6 Master Joystick Module enables mixers to position sound anywhere within a room by providing dual non-motorised joysticks. Mixers can pan and control multiple sounds in surround, control two joysticks with a single hand if desired and map other parameters like plug-in controls to the joysticks. Mixers gain control over additional panning parameters using two colour-coded encoders, 16 panning mode switches with colour LEDs and other panning control switches.
Also, the release of Pro Tools | S6 version 2.1 software adds support for professional KVM solutions to better integrate switching between multiple DAWs. At BVE, experts from HHB are demonstrating set-up, configuration and general functionality when using the DAD AX32 converter system and S6.
Also at the show, HHB is pairing the 16-fader Pro Tools | S3 with the compact Pro Tools | Dock, which is making its UK show debut. Pro Tools | Dock works with iPad and Avid’s free iOS app, Pro Tools Control. When paired with S3, users gain new touch workflows, custom control and additional visual feedback, making it ideal for mixing projects in smaller spaces – and on smaller budgets.
John Johnson, CTO at HHB, said: “Pro Tools | Dock is a great addition to Avid’s control surface range, especially for existing S3 or Artist Control users. It brings a powerful, comprehensive and customisable centre section to an already feature-rich product line.”
The HHB stand also includes products from iZotope, NTP Technology, NUGEN Audio, Punchlight, Roland, RTW, Studio Network Solutions, Studio Technologies, Wohler, Yellowtec and Zoom.
