HHB Communications Ltd. is hosting the world debut of two new important broadcast audio products from Yellowtec at BVE 2015 on Stand J43.
The new PUC Mic LEA integrates the real-time LEA DSP Engine from the iXm digital recording microphone into a class-leading audio interface. Yellowtec’s LEA technology allows crystal clear recordings without time-consuming post-processing by capturing perfect levels without clipping or artefacts. A look-ahead peak limiter avoids ADC distortion by converting the microphone signal twice.
HHB is also debuting iXm Connect, a new recording iOS app for the iXm digital recording microphone. The new app facilitates the exchange of data between the iXm microphone and iOS devices like the iPhone and also allows editing, archiving and several useful features like the use of meta tags. This will be of particular interest to reporters, as it enables them to email recordings directly to the studio after tagging their files.
“iXm Connect not only makes reporters’ lives much easier” says Tim Clausen, Marketing Manager at Yellowtec, “it creates a completely new way of recording interviews because with both iXm and iXm Connect, they finally have an integrative tool set tailored to their requirements.”
HHB Sales Manager Matthew Fletcher comments: “We have been distributing Yellowtec’s products for many years and are always impressed with the ingenuity behind the products. Now only are they extremely well made, they are constantly updated with new and innovative features that keep them at the cutting-edge of broadcast media technology.”
The Yellowtec m!ka monitor and mic mounting system is also on display with HHB. Offering a range of extremely durable mounting solutions for microphones, monitors, iPads, tablets and more, m!ka elements are sturdy aluminium arms and mounts with adjustable friction and an interior coil spring system for easy adjustments.
