Source Elements has released Source-Nexus Router, a desktop application for Windows and macOS that enables unlimited desktop routing. Source-Nexus Router makes it possible to provide static, flexible audio routing setups that lowers the need for complex DAW templates. Featuring all the flexibility of Source-Nexus I/O now in a standalone application, it is now possible to route audio outside the DAW so that the routing is active even when switching sessions or when the DAW is not running.

Featuring advanced audio routing from any device and channel, to any other device and channel, it’s like a powerful patchbay for applications and connections. Any number of combinations of Source-Nexus devices, or other virtual and system audio devices can be mixed and matched regardless of the sample-rate.
