The Model 5482 is a specialized interface that allows two independent Dante® audio-over-Ethernet networks to be interconnected. Can link up to 64 audio channels (at 48 kHz sample rate) or 32 channels (at 96 kHz sampling rate) in each direction between the two Dante networks. Can also serve as a sample-rate conversion (SRC) device to allow Dante devices with different audio sampling rates or timing references to be interconnected. Each Dante network interface features three configurable Gigabit Ethernet ports; two can be used for transporting audio and the third for accessing the management menu system. Each interface also supports AES67. Mounts in one space (1U) of a 19-inch rack and is powered by 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz. Can also be powered by an external source of 12 Vdc.

Applications:
Interconnects up to 64 channels between two independent Dante audio-over-Ethernet networks. Also supports AES67-2018 applications. Integrated sample-rate-conversion functions ensure that timing of independent networks is maintained.
