The Softie system has become a popular lower-cost alternative to Rycote’s full modular windshield system. The system comprises the softie windshield made from open cell foam with an integrated fitted fur cover, a simple but effective suspension mount (with pistol, boom and camera mounting fittings), and a camera mounted softie windshield with extra short fur.
