The ADI-648 offers format conversion from MADI to ADAT and vice-versa to enable the transfer of hi-resolution multichannel digital audio over a single cable up to 100 metres in length. The MADI channels are transferred from and to 8 ADAT optical inputs and 8 outputs via TOSLINK and the ADI-648 contains an easily-configurable 8-channel 16×16 Matrix Router.
