The Neve 88RLB incorporates technology from the flagship 88RS in a 500-series format module. It provides features like the REGenerate function, a sweepable high-pass filter, intelligent phantom power control and a DI input.

The 88RLB offers a transformer-coupled Mic input, electronically balanced Line and DI inputs and Line output. The REGeneration features allows Line and DI inputs to be fed through the Mic input transformer to inject the characteristic Neve sound.
