Neumann’s large diaphragm condenser microphones are famous throughout the pro audio world for their durability, versatility, and most importantly, their sound quality. The latest addition is the TLM103, aimed at pro and semi-pro applications which demand the Neumann stamp of quality but which are working to a budget. The TLM103 features low-noise circuitry and the highest sound pressure level transmission. The capsule is based on that used in the world famous U87, and has a cardioid pattern which exhibits excellent off-axis attenuation without colouring the sound. The TLM103 comes complete with a swivel mount, is presented in a wooden jeweller’s box, and is available in satin nickel or matt black finish.
