The successor to Neumann’s industry-standard KM83 microphone, the omnidirectional KM183 is ideal for use as a spot-mic or as part of an AB stereo pair. It has a flat frequency response, with 7dB boost at 10kHz in the free field. Each Series 180 microphone is phantom powered and comes in a folding case with a windshield and 2 stand mounts for connection to the mic body or XLR connector.
