The PRX635 is a 15-inch, 3-way powered sound reinforcement system that is capable of delivering very high performance over a broad bandwidth. The PRX635 comprises a 380 mm (15″) neodymium woofer, 165mm (6.5″) horn loaded midrange transducer and a 25.4mm (1″) compression driver coupled to a 90° H by 50° V waveguide for uniform audience coverage. These are driven by a 1,500W (3x500W) class-D integrated power amplifier system, which gives the PRX625 a Maximum SPL of 135db peak. All of these features are delivered in a 27.2kg speaker. Its DSP input section provides a dbx Type IV limiter circuit, crossover, dynamic limiting, component optimization and selectable system EQ.
