The DPA ST4006C is a complete stereo pair with two carefully factory-matched omni microphones, which are particularly popular as A-B stereo pairs. The specially selected DPA 4006C microphones are matched within ±0.5dB on both frequency response and sensitivity. The maximum phase response difference is 5°.

A selection of acoustic modification accessories featured with the 4006C, including nose cone and interchangeable protection grids, offers several unique frequency responses and directional characteristics from a single mic. Furthermore, these grids and elements will not produce any phase shift, noise or distortion that would otherwise be introduced by an electrical filter.
