The Coles 4050 Ribbon Microphone was developed using the 4040 capsule that features extended frequency response and high output, making it a very versatile flat and warm sounding capsule. The shock mount included allows for two mono Coles 4050 mics to connect together transforming it into a stereo mic. The 4050’s mounts allow the microphones to rotate through a full 360 degrees, affording you an unlimited amount of configurations including the ability to vary and define the stereo image.
