Based on API’s original EQ, the 560 is a discrete 10 Band Graphic EQ with improved resolution in the ±4 dB area, Offering API’s exclusive circuitry and proprietary components, it is very fast to set and reset using accurate zero detents and offers a wide range of 500 mounting options, from racks to consoles.

API’s signature 2520 Op Amp and output transformers provide optimised headroom and low frequency reproduction. The 560 utilizes API’s unique “Proportional Q” design introduced during the ’60s. This design intuitively widens the filter bandwidth at lower boost/cut levels and narrows it at higher settings.
