The 2997 is designed to meet EIA Standard RS-422 general applications, with 2 balanced cores and 4 signal conductors. An overall diameter of 7mm enables it to fit into most of the D-sub 9-pin connectors. All of the conductors are the same size (#25AWG) including the drain wire. Its numbering print system on the balanced cores is the same as Mogami snake cables and serves as an efficient identification system together with colour coded remaining four signal conductors. Available in black only.
