The Neumann TLM 107 is a large-diaphragm microphone that offers five directional characteristics with optimised level stability and low self-noise. Equally suited for studio, broadcasting and home recording applications, the Neumann TLM 107 microphone stays faithful to the original but adds modern innovations like a newly developed sound transducer. For the first time, all of the microphone switch functions are controlled via a navigation switch.

The Neumann TLM 107 ensures maximum precision over the entire frequency range for all five polar patterns (Omnidirectional, wide angle cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid, figure-8) with the intermediate patterns wide-angle cardioid and hypercardioid. The Neumann TLM 107 large-diaphragm microphone delivers an almost linear reproduction up to 8 kHz and a slight boost in the highest frequencies, with particular attention paid to the natural reproduction of speech sounds, especially the critical “s” sound. The grille is acoustically optimized for low sensitivity to pop sounds. In addition, the sound transducer is edge-terminated, with both diaphragms at ground voltage, which ensures considerably reduced sensitivity to dust and humidity.

• Omnidirectional, wide angle cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid, figure-8
• Low 10 dB-A self-noise
• Low Cut settings (linear): 40 Hz and 100 Hz
• Max SPL 141 dB SPL (increased to 153 dB SPL via pre-attenuation Pad
• Frequency range 20 Hz – 20 kHz
