The KH120 is Neumann’s foray into studio monitors. The active speaker is suitable as both a near-field loudspeaker or as a rear loudspeaker in larger multichannel systems. It features a Mathematically Modeled Dispersion waveguide (MMD), analogue class-AB amplifiers, a large headroom analog input and extensive mounting hardware. It is comprised of a 5.25″ woofer and one-inch tweeter. Its long throw bass driver provides low distortion at high sound levels and a large front panel port reduces bass compression and makes it easier to mount in tight spaces. Its one-piece front panel with no discontinuities provides reduced diffraction and smother frequency response.
