Sales Administrator – HHB Sales

An exciting opportunity to join the UK’s leading supplier of professional audio technology to the world’s leading broadcast, recording, system integrator and post-production companies, and educational organisations.

Based in North West London, HHB Communications Ltd are looking for a Sales Administrator to join the team of experienced sales professionals servicing a broad range of customers in the UK and beyond.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Handling sales and support enquiries; fielding and redirecting calls to other parts of the organisation where required
  • Producing quotations and converting those to sales orders
  • Working closely with the HHB sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Development of positive relationships with customers and provision of a high-quality service
  • Gain a deep understanding of sales software system (Microsoft NAV) to enable smooth and convenient ordering for HHB’s customers
  • Work with purchasing and other divisions of the group to the benefit of our customers; particularly close liaison with technical support being required
  • Coordinating loans for customers and oversight of repair process for faulty equipment
  • Management of marketing databases in conjunction with marketing staff

Marketing Executive - HHB

Based in North West London, HHB Communications Ltd are looking for a Marketing Executive to help deliver a dynamic marketing and communications strategy that includes demand generation programmes, print advertising, exhibitions and events, alongside an on-line and digital strategy encompassing web site, social media, and digital advertising.

Our ideal candidate will be highly organised with exceptional skills in communication, writing, web design and social media platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify target markets and conduct market research on how best to reach them
  • Devise and implement marketing plans and strategies for HHB Communications Ltd
  • Prepare, implement and evaluate all marketing campaigns
  • Liaise and network with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations
  • Develop and implement the company’s social media strategy
  • Produce and distribute marketing materials such as press releases, e-newsletters and web banners
  • Develop and maintain the company website and the ongoing design, production and enhancements for new features and content
  • Occasional travel to trade shows, conferences and business sales meetings

Sales Administrator - Source Distribution

This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK’s leading music technology distributor, handling a number of leading industry brands including: Rode, Genelec, PreSonus, Moog and Arturia.

Based in Park Royal, North West London, Source Distribution are looking for a Sales Administrator to establish a close working relationship with our dealers and process sales orders. Some experience in the music technology sector would be beneficial - as would a basic technical knowledge of the products we handle.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Field both phone and email sales enquiries from dealers and customers and provide accurate information in a helpful friendly way
  • Establish a close working relationship with the Source dealer network
  • Gain a deep understanding of the sales software systems at Source (principally Microsoft Dynamics/NAV) and how to quickly enter and extract information from it
  • Work closely with Source’s area managers to assist them with enquiries about price/stock levels and any queries about the progress of orders already on the system
  • Assist Brand managers, in particular with trade shows and trade show preparation, and on sales projects and promotions
  • Manage the dealer sales incentive scheme
  • Assist with management and processing sales of ex-demo stock, Amazon account orders, software orders, and loan orders

Our Ideal Candidate

  • A superb understanding of Excel spreadsheets and how to get the most out of them
  • Very good basic IT skills – able to pick up new software easily; experienced in using Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and advantage
  • Must be an outgoing and motivated self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
  • Be keen and able to build direct relationships with customers and suppliers
  • A working knowledge of any of our core brands would be advantageous
  • Confidentiality and discretion are essential
  • Excellent organisational and client facing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Service Engineer - HHB

An exciting opportunity to join the UK’s leading supplier of professional audio technology to the world’s leading Broadcast, Recording, System Integrators, Post-Production companies and Education organisations. Based in North West London, HHB Communications Ltd are looking for a Service Engineer to join a small team specialised engineers responsible for fixing pro-audio products that are sent into the Service Department for repair.

Role and Responsibility

  • Accept service requests as prioritised by the service manager; provide an initial inspection and condition assessmentl; and provide quotes for repairs to non-warranty service items.
  • Provide analysis, repairs and testing of service items
  • Order appropriate spare parts for repairs
  • Provide technical reference point for engineering questions and queries by customers
  • Liase with specific suppliers in conjunction with Service Manager and Brand Managers and provide technical support to customers
  • Flagging of common or epidemic faults in new or upgraded or modified products to enable suppliers/manufacturers to address these at source

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of electronics in general and pro-audio servicing in particular. Educated to degree level in electronics would be highly beneficial.
  • Proven skills in technical analysis and resolution of pro-audio equipment faults. Exceptional problem solving, fault-finding and testing skills, experience with electronic test equipment: multi-meters, bench power supplies, oscilloscopes etc.
  • Proven practical experience of component level repairs to electrical equipment, the ability to follow schematics, good soldering skill (including SMT boards)
  • Understanding of synthesis, signal flow and architecture
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to deal effectively with customers, suppliers, colleagues and other HHB departments
  • Good skills in IT and the ability to drive the software systems used within the Service Department.
  • Good knowledge and awareness of the products coming in for service and of the spare parts that we use and sell via the service department.
