PDRDS Docking Station (optional)
It’s easy to transfer industry-standard BWF or SDII audio files from the PORTADRIVE to Mac and PC-based workstations using the optional Docking Station. The Docking Station locates into a standard 5.25" IDE computer drive bay and accommodates the PORTADRIVE’s removable HD via a slot on the front panel. The Docking Station can also be housed in any of a number of enclosures available from third-party manufacturers, providing connection to computers via FireWire, USB or SCSI interfacing. This gives the user many interfacing options with the simplicity of removing the HD caddy from the PORTADRIVE and plugging it into the Docking Station.
PDRDSUF FireWire/USB Docking Station (optional)
A FireWire/USB equipped, standalone Docking Station which connects easily to Mac and PC-based workstations via the supplied cables. The PORTADRIVE's removable HD is accommodated via a slot in the front panel to deliver high speed file transfers for post production.
PDRDVDBU Multi-Format Back Up Drive (optional)
HHB's optional external multi-format DVD±R/RW, DVD-RAM & CD-R/RW Back Up Drive is DC powered via a 4-pin XLR, enabling the simultaneous recording of a mono or stereo Director's mix in the field. The drive can also be used to back up sessions at the end of the day.
PDRNPL7 Lithium Ion Battery & A/C adaptor/charger (supplied)
The supplied 71 Watt/hour NPL7 Lithium Ion rechargeable battery, when fully charged, provides approximately 3 hours of constant operation. The A/C adaptor doubles as a charger when the PORTADRIVE is not in use. Additional batteries can also be purchased.
PDRDC40 40GB Removable HD (supplied)
The supplied 40GB removable hard drive is mounted in a tough, shock-resistant metal chassis. Easy access is provided to the hard disk, which may be removed and replaced with other compatible units. The disk caddy locates into the PORTADRIVE quickly and locks in place by turning the metal knob. Additional HD's can also be purchased.
PDRDC80 80GB Removable HD (optional)
The optional PDRDC80 80GB removable hard drive can record 9.5 hours of 8-channel, uncompressed 24-bit/96kHz digital audio
PDRCC Carrying bag (optional)
Tough, durable carrying bag provides rapid access to PORTADRIVE controls and I/O connections, and incorporates pockets for additional batteries, cables, radio-mics, etc.
PDRJL2 2-bay multi-format sequential NP-style quick charger (optional)
Perfect for travel, this combination unit is a 60W power supply and dual NP-style charger that will automatically fast charge Li-Ion, NiMH, and NiCd (NP-style) in any combination. Includes 10' XLR power cable.
