University of Sussex

HHB Communications Ltd supplied and installed the new audio production system in University of Sussex’s recently refurbished Media Service building. The new audio studio facility is being used for a wide range of tasks including music production, audio post production, foley sound effects recording and live mixing from the adjacent television studio. The system is based on a DigiDesign D-Command ICON, HP Windows workstation, AKA-Design Furniture and a Genelec surround sound loudspeaker systems.

Kingsdale Foundation School

Kingsdale’s specialist status in Performing Arts has been enhanced by the opening of a new building which has an impressive array of facilities to support its music, drama and sports programmes. During the design phase of the building the school commissioned HHB Communications Ltd to specify the cabling scheme for microphone and audio distribution between classrooms, the performance stage and music production rooms. HHB has also supplied the equipment for music studio, which is based around a Soundcraft mixer.

Limerick Institute of Technology

Limerick Institute of Technology has invested in a major new studio complex to support their new Music Technology and Production BSc and Post Graduate courses. HHB Communications Ltd supplied and installed two ProTools ICON studio systems, both based around 24-fader D-Commands, AKA-Design furniture, Apple MacPro computer and Genelec loudspeakers. Studio A is a surround sound production system, suitable for both music and audio post production, while Studio B is designated for stereo music production system. HHB supplies multi-camera Anycast system to aid teaching training in Worcestershire

HHB Communications, a specialist supplier of audio-visual technology to schools and colleges, has supplied a 3-camera video production system to Haybridge High School, a specialist-status training school in Worcestershire. Based around the powerful, yet easy-to-operate Sony AWSG500, Anycast Station and including two remote controlled Sony EVI-D70 cameras, the system enables teacher trainers to observe and record trainees at work in the classroom, cutting between video feeds and moving the cameras to focus on relevant activity within the room. - Read more
