As HHB products including the FlashMic Digital Recording Microphone are increasingly relied upon by broadcasters and news organisations around the world, the UK-based pro audio technology manufacturer has announced the appointment of Concilium Technologies as exclusive distributor for South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. The appointment was announced during the 2009 NAM show, where HHB is exhibiting alongside US distributor Sennheiser. Headquartered just to the south of Pretoria, Concilium already represents leading broadcast audio brands including DHD, Harris and Maycom, and have installed and commissioned DHD digital audio mixing desks in the flagship SABC foyer project, requiring not only audio skills, but also a sound understanding of network technologies as well.
