Soft Case (supplied)

The PORTADISC is supplied as standard with a protective soft case and carrying strap. The case features a cable/mic pouch, windows for the transport keys and front panel, plus a sealable flap providing access to all the main connectors.

Rechargable Battery Caddy (supplied)

A caddy of 8 Nickel Metal Hydride batteries locates quickly and securely behind a panel at the rear of the unit. It provides power for in excess of 3 hours in record and 3.5 hours in playback.

Empty Battery Caddy (supplied)

A second, empty caddy is supplied which can be loaded either with another set of rechargeable batteries or standard AA type batteries. Depending on quality, the life of the alkaline batteries is approximately 2.5 hours in record and 3 hours in playback.

AC Mains Adaptor / Charger (supplied)

Connects via the PORTADISC's DC input and recharges the batteries while the recorder is in use.

MDPBP Rechargeable Battery Pack

A robust, sealed battery pack which provides 210 minutes of MDP500 operation from a single charge. The unit is short circuit and temperature protected, and reduces wear and tear of the MDP500 battery compartment. Charging cycle is three hours with the ACS110 charger.

ACS110 Microprocessor Controlled Charger

Provides intelligent monitoring and charging functions for the MDPBP battery pack. This model is compact, lightweight, and features comprehensive LED monitoring and discharge function.

HHB PORTADISC Reporter's Kit

Includes tough case, HHB PORTADISC, Sennheiser MD46 mic with cable, universal charger / AC adaptor, two battery caddies, USB cable, 6 MiniDiscs.
